Gringo Skateboards is the Creation of Jeff Newton, who in 1976, first began manufacturing Zorlac Skateboards. Throughout the 80's he was a photographer for Thrasher Magazine, organized and ran numerous backyard contest series, ditch contest series, demos, and founded the infamous "Shut Up and Skate" ProAm Events. Zorlac eventually moved to California and lost it's Texas roots. Gringo is here (IN TEXAS) to rekindle the same attitude and spirit that once was.
